Degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering or comparable - ideally with a focus on electronic systems in the vehicle Several years of experience in the development of automotive hardware, in particular control units, sensors, actuators, power distribution systems, as well as in high-speed design and signal integrity Knowledge of automotive-specific standards and norms, e.g. ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), Automotive SPICE, EMC requirements, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet Experience with hardware development tools and simulation, e.g. Altium, Automotive SPICE
Ihre Aufgaben
Define architectures for electronic control units and components Process customer requirements and requests from OEMs Increase development capacities for hardware and component development Development of the hardware architecture: conception and design of powerful and scalable hardware solutions Technology evaluation and component selection: selection of suitable components and evaluation of newer technologies Cross-team collaboration: coordination with departments such as software, system and mechanics Conduct tests, failure analyses, and performance optimization Documentation & quality assurance: preparation of technical documentation and compliance with quality standards
